Razieh AZARI holds a degree in Translation (2012) from Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman (Iran) and a Master of Arts in Translation (2015) from Kerman Institute of Higher Education (Iran), a Master of Arts in Translation (2015) from Kerman Institute of Higher Education (Iran), and a Master of Science in Global Health from the University of Geneva. She was a lecturer at the Department of Foreign Languages of the Higher Education Complex of Bam (Iran). She has worked as a freelance translator since 2009. She is currently working on her doctoral thesis at the Faculty of Translation and Interpreting (FTI) of the University of Geneva under the supervision of Prof. Sonia Asmahène HALIMI. Her thesis focuses on the lay-friendliness of translated health communication.
