Estelle Gross holds a BA in Multilingual Communication and a MA in Specialised Translation, with a focus on Translation Studies, from the Faculty of Translation and Interpretation of the University of Geneva. Her passion for research has led her to pursue an academic career. She is currently working on a doctoral thesis provisionally entitled "Émergence des politiques de traduction à l’échelon local, en Suisse entre 1848 et 1918 – Les cas de Bienne, Berne et Genève", under the supervision of Prof. Valérie Dullion. Her doctoral research is part of the “Places of Translation” project, codirected by Prof. Valérie Dullion and Prof. Reine Meylaerts (KU Leuven). In parallel to her research activities, she teaches general culture to young apprentices.
