Morgane BONA-PELLISSIER holds an MA in Specialised Translation with a focus on legal translation (University of Geneva, 2014), an MA in International and European Law (University Jean Moulin-Lyon III, 2015), and an MA in Comparative Law (University Panthéon-Assas-Paris II, 2016). She has also studied English, Spanish and Asian law. She was a translation intern at the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law (Unidroit) and the Department of Comparative Law of the French Senate, and has also worked as a freelancer translator with several agencies. She is currently working on her doctoral thesis, entitled “La terminologie juridique institutionnelle : variabilité et adéquation des décisions de traduction au sein des Nations Unies, de l’UE et de l’OMC” under the supervision of Prof. Fernando Prieto Ramos. Her doctoral research is part of the project “Legal Translation in International Institutional Settings: Scope, Strategies and Quality Markers” (LETRINT).
