Transius Conference 2022: Thank you for an inspiring event

After being postponed for a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Transius Centre held its third international conference in collaboration with IAMLADP’s Universities Contact Group (UCG). From 27 to 29 June 2022, over 250 participants (including scholars, practitioners and students) from 35 countries of all continents gathered in Geneva to discuss the latest trends in legal and institutional translation research and practice.

In addition to the keynote lectures by Anne Lafeber (United Nations), Anne-Lise Kjaer (University of Copenhagen) and Jeffrey Killman (University of North Carolina at Charlotte), over one hundred speakers from over 60 universities and 20 international and national institutions participated in 27 parallel sessions, three institutional roundtables and a poster session. This edition has consolidated the role of the Transius conference as a unique global platform to exchange ideas, network and foster new collaborations in the field. We are grateful to all participants for a fruitful gathering and look forward to the next edition!
