Workshop on plain language and AI during the MT Summit co-organised by a Transius member

The 1st Workshop on Artificial Intelligence and Easy and Plain Language in Institutional Contexts will take place on 23 June 2025 in conjunction with the MT Summit 2025 in Geneva. The full-day event, which is co-organised by Paolo CANAVESE, will explore how cutting-edge technologies can support the creation, validation and refinement of accessible communication in institutional settings. The Workshop will include a keynote lecture by Christiane MAAß (University of Hildesheim), an interactive session on prompt engineering for easy language translation facilitated by Silvia HANSEN-SCHIRRA and Dimitrios KAPNAS (University of Mainz), and ten paper presentations on current approaches and innovations in the field.
