Legal Translation in Context
A new publication co-edited by professors Fernando PRIETO RAMOS (FTI) and Anabel BORJA ALBI (Jaume I University) has been released by Peter Lang. Legal Translation in Context is the result of a project launched by Prof. PRIETO RAMOS in November 2009 with the participation of 20 specialists, including Jean-Claude GÉMAR, Susan ŠARČEVIĆ, Deborah CAO and Xingmin ZHAO, among others. The book offers an overview of the diverse professional profiles within legal translation, which have been classified into three main categories: (1) legal translation in the private sector; (2) legal translation for national public institutions; and (3) legal translation at international organizations.
Two of the chapters were written by Prof. PRIETO RAMOS: "Legal Translation: The State of Affairs" and "Legal Translation at the World Trade Organization".
The table of contents is available on Peter Lang's website.
